Exceptional academic achiever dedicated to helping students reach their full potential
I'm Hari Ramesh, and I'm passionate about helping students achieve their academic dreams. My journey has been one of dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence that I'm excited to share with you.
My academic journey began at Math, Science, and Engineering for High School (AMSE) in Rockaway, NJ — a highly competitive magnet program that accepts only the most dedicated students. This rigorous foundation prepared me for the challenges ahead.
I graduated in just 2.5 years with dual degrees: a BS/MS in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Applied Mathematics from NJIT — all on a full academic scholarship. I maintained a 4.00 undergraduate GPA and a 4.00 graduate GPA, demonstrating consistent excellence across both programs. This accelerated path taught me the value of efficient learning strategies and time management, skills I now pass on to my students.
On standardized tests, I scored 1560+ on the SAT and 35+ on the ACT, placing me in the 99th percentile. These scores opened doors for me, and I understand exactly what it takes to excel on these critical exams.
This fall, I'll be starting medical school at GW School of Medicine as a Wasserman Scholar — an honor awarded to approximately 20 out of 16,000 applicants. This prestigious scholarship recognizes exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential. My acceptance to such a competitive program reflects not just my academic achievements, but my ability to navigate the complex application process successfully.
As a tutor, I bring this same level of dedication and proven success to every session. I specialize in mathematics (my strongest area), chemistry, physics, biology, and English, with particular expertise in MCAT preparation. Whether you're preparing for standardized tests, tackling AP courses, or working toward medical school admission, I'm here to help you succeed.
